- The Don Miller "Spirit" Award is given to a current or Honorary Member of the Johnson County Bar Association who maintains a continued optimistic spirit that inspires and encourages others through the example of his or her professional and personal life and demonstrates the warm and friendly relationship that defines a loyal friend and colleague. - Johnson County Bar Association Justinian Award for Professional Excellence (2013)
- The Justinian Award is the premier award for members of the Johnson County Bar Association and is awarded to those attorneys who have exemplified the following:- Integrity
- Service to the Community
- Service to the Legal Profession
- Warmth, Friendliness and Camaraderie
- Overland Park Rotary Ben Craig Distinguished Service Award (2009)
- Our club annually honors one of our members with the Ben Craig Distinguished Service Award. The selection committee will consider the following when making a recommendation for the award:- The Rotarian must have distinguished himself/herself by fully representing the principles of Rotary as expressed in the Rotary Motto (Service Above Self), the Objects and Obligations of Rotary, and the Rotary Four-Way Test.
- The Rotarian's contributions to the club will be considered.
- The Rotarian's contributions to the community will be considered.
- The Rotarian's professional and business accomplishments will be considered.
- The Rotarian's leadership and personal qualities will be considered.
- The immediate Past President and the current President will not be eligible for the award.
- Overland Park Chamber of Commerce "OP Award" Recipient (2008)
- The OP Award recognizes individuals and organizations going above and beyond. - William T. Kemper Foundation Overland Park Community Service Award (2008)
- The Commerce Bank Community Service Award is dedicated to recognizing individuals who make an exceptional contribution to their community and the people who live there. A special grant given in the name of the honoree is awarded to the nonprofit agency of the honoree's choice. The potential award recipients are identified through a thoughtful consultation process with groups that include community and civic leaders. Commerce Bank officers and advisory board members then select the Community Service Award recipient. - Kansas State University Blue Key Honor Society Alumnus of the Year (2004)
