Welcome to the website for my re-election campaign for the Johnson County Community College Board of Trustees. I appreciate your interest in this important election and your support of our home-owned, locally governed College. I have dedicated the last 8 years to improving the College, including access and affordability for all Johnson County citizens, meeting the needs of our business community, opening opportunities for obtaining a 4-year degree, and balancing the cost to Johnson County taxpayers. I hope you agree that the future of Johnson County is tied to the future excellence of JCCC. 

As our College celebrates its first 50 years and enters the future, having serious and thoughtful public servants on the Board of Trustees is more important than ever.  After reviewing this website and my record, I hope you will allow me another term on the Board of Trustees. No other volunteer position has brought more satisfaction and It would be an honor to continue to serve you.

Please look through this site for more information about me, my family, the people who know me and my goals for our  College. Then I hope you will consider supporting me - first with your vote, but also by sharing this information with your family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. Make sure they know that an important election will occur August 6th: the primary, and general election November 5, 2019.  The three candidates with the top vote totals will serve as  your trustees for the next four years.  (If more than 9 candidates file for the three open positions, a primary election will occur on August 6, 2019.)

My promise to you is the same I made in 2011 and 2015 - I promise you my best efforts, hard work, integrity and common sense. Together, we can ensure our college's future is even brighter than its past..
